In our own small way, we want to try to do something for the planet and to reverse the climate and environmental crisis.
Because we believe in the power of symbols and the necessity for each one of us to do something concrete.
We choose only green hosting
The Internet, according to the Green Hosting Foundation, is the“world’s largest machine fueled by coal” and contributes to the climate, environmental and social crisis we are living in.
That is why we decided to do our part by choosing only green hosting providers:
Data center providers guarantee us the electricity sustainability provided through ISO 14001 certification, direct use of renewable energy sources and the purchase of Guarantees of Origin (GO): electronic certifications that guarantee that an amount of green energy corresponding to that which we use has been produced, offsetting the power requirements of our servers accordingly With renewable energy sources.
The Green Web Foundation tracks and accelerates the transition geared towards a fossil-free Internet. By accessing the search engine on your site, you can check if you are using green hosting and get the certification badge.
We plant a tree for each project
Every time we create a new site, or when support is activated on an existing site, we are planting a seed that will grow and bear fruit, exactly what we want to do as a web agency for our Clients.
However, it is not just a symbol, but a very concrete gesture: we really plant a new tree and entrust it to our Client’s care.
All trees are good for the environment: they absorbCO2, emit oxygen, promote biodiversity, counter soil erosion, and more.
The project is implemented through a partnership with Treedom. Our trees are photographed, geolocated and have their own online page where you can follow the story of the project you are a part of.
